Calling All Stars is a group of friends that have worked together on a common sound for the last several years. Cason Neill and Jamal Hafza formed the band in late 2005 after playing together at an acoustical event in Atlanta GA. Hafza had just moved back to the city leaving from Orlando when the chance of the two playing together arose. The duo's first original effort was "Foreign" which seemed to flow seamlessly being inked in the Henry County GA. home of Neill.

Their early 2006 release on Malimar Records, "White Fields" was recorded within the legendary room, Southern Tracks in downtown Atlanta, GA. by Tom Tapley(Bruce Springsteen, Incubus, The Bravery) . The album was recorded over a weekend in the winter of 06, introducing Steven Neill as the piano, organ, and sax player of the group. As 2007 approached Calling All Stars revitalized its line-up with the addition of long time friend and Atlanta music scene veteran Mickey Wade ( former drum technician and percussionist for Third Eye Blind, Collective Soul, Butch Walker). A thriving schedule across much of the deep south and a nationally blossoming following have forced Calling All Stars to return to Southern Tracks in the upcoming months to provide their fans with yet another, but yet more mature and focused installment of unadulterated rock n roll. Set for a tenative national street release In early spring of 2009, Tapley will again be engineering the project but with Shawn Grove (Sevendust, Matchbox 20, Collective Soul) to mix the entire album. "This band is about the song… the moment… and the sound," says drummer Mick Wade about the mindset of Calling All Stars. Keep your eye’s peeled for an opportunity to take a listen or see a live performance by this new force and you too will hear the Sweet Noise they are making.
