Here we are one more year with the 19th edition of the Pineda Psychobilly Meeting, which is the oldest psychobilly festial in the scene.
This year we have some new things going on…
The Festival will return to the original date, July. The meeting will take place from the 5th to 12th of July and the festival will be on the 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th in the tent on the beach. The reason of this change is because the date we used to do it, was a holiday season here in Spain, and it was more complicated to organize the whole event…For some of you, will be easier to do the holidays at this time and the weather uses to be better, so we keep the festival 's philosophy that is sun, beach and Psychobilly!!
In this edition we want to remark some important points as the return to our stage after 7 years of a mythical band such as Nekromantix, with only two concerts in Europe… Or Mark Carew and his boys (LONG TALL TEXANS), this time together especially for the occasion with its original line up, or family Sardi (Ricochets) pioneers of the genre in the UK, with an emotional concert for them since Ginger (drummer ) is getting married on the festival! Or the comeback of BATMOBILE with a great performance on stage. We will have 23 bands life that we think that is a good representation of what happens in the Psychobilly scene around the world, a scene that every year is stronger.

Another unexpected new is that the Kuklans, the beach bar has gone, the spanish coast law does not allow more buildings just a few meters from the beach, but don't worry, we will have a better conditioned beach bar for our event and closer to the center of Pineda.

Otro año más estamos a la carga con una nueva edición del Psychobilly Meeting en Pineda de Mar , la 19 º ¡!!!!.Lo cual sigue consolidando el festival más longevo de la escena.
Este año por motivos de fiestas en el calendario nos hemos vistos obligados a volver a la fecha que inicialmente se realizaba el meeting, en Julio, del 5 al 12, y el festival el 7, 8, 9 y 10 en la carpa de la playa.
Con este cambio aseguramos mejor tiempo y vuestra disponibilidad de las vacaciones, que en definitiva de eso se trata de disfrutar de la filosofía del festival que es sol, playa y PSYCHOBILLY ¡!!!
En esta edición encontrareis novedades importantes como la vuelta a nuestros escenarios después de 7 años de una banda mitica como son NEKROMANTIX, con dos únicos conciertos en europa. O Mark Carew y sus chicos (LONG TALL TEXANS), esta vez reunidos especialmente para la ocasión con su formación original, o la familia Sardi (RICOCHETS) pioneros del genero en U.K, con un concierto este año emotivo para ellos ya que Ginger (batería) contraerá matrimonio en nuestro escenario ¡!! O que decir de BATMOBILE ¿??? Con sus directos demoledores…. A todo esto se le suma un total de 23 bandas que nosotros pensamos que son una muy buena representación de lo que la escena PSYCHOBILLY acontece, una escena que cada año es más fuerte.

Otra de las novedades es que desaparece el Kuklans bar, o chiringuito de la playa , ya que la dura ley de costas Española no permite edificaciones estables a tan sólo unos metros de la playa. Pero no os preocupéis, habrá chiringuito playero mejor acondicionado para nuestro evento y más cerca del pueblo para vuestra comodidad.

Every year during 7 days in the month of June a strange kind of demons are allowed to wal on earth again
They meet eachothers in a little town near the beach, which is the closest town to hell.
During one week this place is invaded by hundreds of these maniac rockers from hell. You can meet them everywhere during the day But its only at night when you can see them shakin in a strange way, like in a macabre ritual dance, listening to that blasfem mutant rockabilly music they bring from Hell.
These weird creatures call themselves PSYCHOBILLYS
This town is called PINEDA DE MAR
And this 7 days become known as the PINEDA PSYCHOBILLY MEETING

During the night you can hang out with your friends to the local bars where different djs will be playing !!
Pineda de Mar is a small town 55km from Barcelona and 45 km from Girona, located between Santa Sussanna and Calella and offers good quality hotels, where you can relax on the swimming pool or laying on the great beaches of the sunny Spanish coast.
