By The Wayside was an acoustic / indie band that was active in the Washington DC area from late 2005 through mid 2007. By The Wayside was formed by two close friends who first met in the summer of 2003. By December 2005 they decided to perform some of their favorite songs together and shortly thereafter asked Brooks to join them on drums. By The Wayside was born and derived its energy from the dynamic guitar playing style that was Bill's, the powerful voice that was Jenn's coupled with her infectious personality, a real onstage chemistry plus Brook's knowledge of what songs to play and steady beat on the drums.



Songwriting by both Bill and Jenn included Ruby Falls, Not Ready, Travel, Mr. Henry How's the Weather?, Fine, Coppertone #8, Switchblade and several others.



By The Wayside is missed by its bandmembers who all remain very good friends and regularly hang out together.



Currently, Bill is pursuing singing / songwriting and regularly performing in showcases at Modern Times in Washington DC as well as putting together an acoustic instrumental band, Star FK Radium. Brooks is actively playing drums in several different bands in the DC area and Jenn is taking time off from gigs to enjoy her friends.
