MC BUSHKIN and producer SLY RANGER met at a dub plate session in 2003. As a result of their like mindedness they clicked instantly and talked about reviving the UK music scene which at this time had taken a huge dive due to artists being dropped from record labels and the police cancelling live shows up and down the country.



They found comfort in each others ideas of going back to the Reggae roots of the UK music scene, inspired by the likes of 'Tippa Irie, Sweetie Irie, Joe 90, Trevor Fly, Topcat, Saxon Sound, David Rodigan, General Levi, Mc Navigator and the Ragga Twins.



After working on numerous projects together in the studio, with some of the best artists in the UK and from around the world, Bushkin was able to see the the true potential of Sly Rangers engineering and producing skills and said in his own words "I don't know anyone who can tess you. The world aint ready"



Shortly after this Bushkin had a contract darfted and Sly Ranger was the first artist to be signed to his brand new label 'Bush Bash Recordings'.



Bringing North and South together and providing a positive vehicle for artists around the globe Bushkin aims to do in 2008 what Berry Gordy did with Motown in the 70s.
