Basak CEBER

Başak Ceber was born in 1985. When she was 7 years old, she started to sing at TRT (Turkish Radio and Television Channel ) children choir for three years. When she was a high school student she studied on Maths & Science education and she graduated at 2003. At the same year she admitted to the audition of the same Tv channel's (TRT) "Youth Classical Music Choir" and elected. Between years of 2003 and 2004, she sang at the choir as a soprano but she left the choir at 2004 because of her university education.
In 2004, she passed the university exams of Istanbul University's "Business Administration" department and she studied in this school for 4 years and graduated at 2008. While she was studying business section she admitted to the auditions of Istanbul University Conservatory's part time "Choir Singers" department and she elected. In 2006, she begun to work with Ardan Beyarslan as a mezzo-soprano but a year later she decided to continiue her musical education at "Musical Theatre" department of the same conservatory and she elected at the auditions of this department . In 2007 she gathered a chamber music orchestra with the other universities' conservatory students and sang many classical music works with the orchestra. She sang with Almora ,most known symphonic band of Turkey .
When she graduated from the business school and took her bachelor degree from this university in 2008 she admitted to the auditions of Istanbul University Conservatory's Opera department and she passed the exams and elected. She continued her musical education at "Musical Theatre" and "Opera" department at the same time. She took a role at "Grease " musical theatre show in 2008 as "Mrs. Lynch" and in the same year she admitted to the auditions of the " Istanbul Clarinets' Choir" and she elected by the jury of choir and made a concert with orchestra in 2009. After studying a mezzo- soprano for 3 years, she started to work with Ass. Prof. Sebnem Unal as a soprano at the class 2.in the year of 2011 she sang at the Dido & Aeneas Opera's choir parts .
and " DREAM OCEAN " is the only important musical project of her career .
