b-SHAKE has been selected for Grammy Awards 2010 in “Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals” and “Best Rock Song” categories with one of the tracks from its last EP reTuned called “Venus”
b-SHAKE is a trio composed of Malik Alimoekhamedov (guitars, vocals), Régis Vanderslyen (bass) and Augustin Hennecker (drums). Coming from Uzbekistan. Malik founded the band which claims to mix several streams of rock music and his oriental origins. Since the beginning, b-SHAKE participated and won several contests, joined track lists of different compilations, released a lot of original material, has been used for soundtracks and played a huge amount of shows.
Early after its creation, b-SHAKE releases its first album « Our Future Begins Here » distributed for free on the internet and downloaded more than 20.000 times.
In November 2007, the band releases a new EP « reTuned » distributed by all major internet stores. A couple of month later b-SHAKE wins the « PureDemo » contest (RTBF /Belgian national Radio & TV) with “Pop Corn”, the first track of “reTuned”. Almost directly after that, the band produces a music video for “Despite All Reasons” directed by Raphaël Kolacz, one of the emerging Belgian clip makers. Their new track « Scratching Words » has been selected for the “Sponsored Songs” campaign driven by ReverbNation and Microsoft.
In October 2009, b-SHAKE is placed on the official ballot of the Grammy Awards 2010 along with acts like Coldplay, Kings of Leon, U2 and many more. This the first time in the history of the Belgian rock!

b-SHAKE, c’est un trio pop rock formé par Malik Alimoekhamedov à la guitare et au chant, Régis Vanderslyen à la basse et Augustin Hennecker à la batterie. Ce groupe a vu le jour en 2005, emmené par Malik originaire d’Ouzbékistan. Né d’un mélange d’influences de rock anglo-saxon et d’accents ouzbeks, b-SHAKE s’est dévoilé au public au fil des années par des nombreux concerts.
A ses débuts, b-SHAKE réalise un premier album de 9 titres, «Our Future Begins Here». Il sera distribué librement sur la toile et téléchargé plus de 20.000 fois.
En novembre 2007, ce groupe de jeunes bruxellois sort un maxi-single de 3 titres «reTuned» distribué sur toutes les plateformes de téléchargement comme iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody et bien d’autres. Quelques mois plus tard, ils sont lauréats du concours Pure Demo (RTBF) avec leur extrait «Pop-Corn». Dans la foulée, ils décident de produire avec Raphaël Kolacz, un réalisateur belge en vogue à l’heure actuelle, leur première vidéo de «Despite All Reasons».
