In 2006, Nick Brownell and Jeremiah Richey met as rivals while filming ABC's reality show, "The One: Making a Music Star." After the short lived series the two went their separate ways, Nick back to Sandusky, OH, and Jeremiah to Waxahachie, TX. In January of 2008, Jeremiah got word of a new series on CMT called "Can You Duet," and immediately called Nick to see if he wanted to partner up for the show. Six months later the duo known as Brownell and Richey emerged from the competition as runners-up. Armed with the momentum from the CMT series the guys are booking shows with major country artists like Jessica Simpson and are ready to explode onto the county music landscape.
