Born and Raised in the small East Coast town Amherst, Massachusettes. M.C., since 1991,started Producing beats in 92/93 and Deejaying in 93. Influenced by the "Golden Age" of Hiphop and being raised by a former Black Panther, Elevation fuses consciousness with lyrical content. His beats are a renaissance of the "traditional" way of producing hiphop records, i.e., sampling. Mixing HIPHOP with Soul as well as Reggae at times has been his signature SoundMark. For him, making music is like his pulse in life, money is not the motivating factor, but is needed to elevate the movement.
