From Me:
I started singing at a very young age,
just like most artists.
As a young girl, I traveled around the East Coast with a ministry team and through that I realized how powerful music can be.
I graduated from Thomas Dale High School and went off to record my first album in Nashville. After studying the Music Industry and focusing on God and what he wanted me to do with my talent. I have now decided to strongly pursue Music. My ULTIMATE goal: To be able to touch lives with the music I sing and to start a Charity for the less fortunate called RIse Again Charity. I want to be able to give people what others dont. Hope, for a better life & a better future To ultimately share that God can give you strength to overcome. anything.
Overview written by Nashville Producer:
Only two words are necessary to describe Virginia native Brittany Warthan: Energy. Talent. When this Richmond, Virginia girl steps in front of a microphone, her vocals are powerful beyond belief and filled with the rich sincerity of a true entertainment stylist. And when she takes the stage the synergy of her enormous energy leaps to the forefront to capture an audience and never let them go until the last musical note has faded into the echo of exuberant applause.
With Brittany, what started in kindergarten has grown exponentially and continued for a lifetime. From her early days in school plays and stage performances to taking center stage at Fairs and Festivals, Brittany has continued to grow and entertain. "Over the years," she says, "I realize how music relates differently to people and how styles of music and powerful lyrics can reach people emotionally. And that's what I want to do: reach people in a meaningful way."
And it is that desire to reach people and entertain that took Brittany to the nationally acclaimed Colgate Country Showdown in 2006. There, she won the local competition and the regional event in the Richmond, Virginia area which thrust her into the State Finals. Although she didn't win the State competition, the learning experience and exposure was enormous. That exposure garnered her an invitation to perform at the VIP Club of the Nissan Pavilion in Northern Virginia ahead of a Kenny Chesney and Dierks Bentley concert.
Not satisfied to remain still in her career pursuits, Brittany has also appeared in motion pictures, having filmed parts of Evan Almighty from the makers of Bruce Almighty. Her stunning good looks and her ability to adapt to almost any situation has brought her to the front of the crowd pursuing an entertainment career.
Brittany is dedicated and sincere in her efforts to continue entertaining and reaching people through her music. In 2006, she completed her first music CD in Nashville. The reviews and reactions of fans and professionals alike has been incredible. Gathering songs from many of Nashville's top writers and publishers, the CD compilation exhibits Brittany's powerful and soulful vocal abilities.
Whether on the stage singing her heart out or in front of a camera, Brittany Warthan is Energy and Talent. Those who see her in the Fairs and Festivals or Special Events, know and realize Brittany Warthan is on her way to fulfilling more than a dream. She is fulfilling a lifetime and a life style she has chosen. And she does it extremely well!!font>
