Brie Neilson

Although terribly shy as a kid, Brie soon found comfort on stage doing school musicals and singing in a classical choir for years in her hometown, Vancouver, BC. Abandoning music to study painting, she couldn't stay away for too long, and began writing and performing her own songs 6 years ago. In 2006, Brie packed her bags and moved to Montreal to pursue her artistic career. As a fulltime member of The Unsettlers, who have just released a double album titled, Oil & Blood, she remains very busy, finding herself in the throws of the writing and recording process. Along with Her Other Men, this Canadian songstress and children's music teacher, is aiming to release a follow up to her debut solo EP Then We Learn To Dance in the spring of 2012.
