Brídín Brennans eagerly anticipated debut album Eyes of Innocence could be described as her officially joining the family business.



Brídín grew up immersed in music as the youngest member of Irelands renowned Brennan family that has already produced Clannad and Enya. Although the haunting ethereal voice is unmistakable in its lineage, Brídíns music is certainly different from the traditional or classical style of her siblings. With this album Brídín has managed to infuse some of her own tastes and experiences into a genre best termed as 'chilled adult pop'.



The albums leader track 'You Can't Hurt Me', is already a firm favourite at radio stations. The track features a sample from 'By The Time I Get To Phoenix', the song made famous by the legendary Glen Campbell.

Following the same career path as her sister Enya, Brídín served her apprenticeship with Clannad. Touring with them from the age of 18 she went on to contribute vocals to three internationally successful albums. In addition to this she had the experience of appearing on top rated television shows such as Later with Jools Holland and Tonight with Jay Leno.



Brídín has written all the tracks on the album with the exception of 'Got What You Wanted' which was penned for her by singer Donna Lewis, whose single 'I Love You Always Forever' became a global phenomenon.



The combination of Brídíns pop sensibility, infectious hooks and blissful melodies has produced an original and distinctive new sound. With this album she looks set to chase the heels of her more famous sisters.

With 75 million album sales in the family already there is a lot of catching up to do!
