Brian Rolland's Guitar Driven Gentle Jazz draws on a wide range of American, Latin, and Brazilian guitar styles splashed with world, new age, and rock hues. Lots of colorful sounds and voices.
A virtuouso guitarist from Boston, he was trained in classical composition along with jazz, while also pursuing blues, rock, flamenco, and renaissance all of which coalesced in a unique soundstyle rooted in acoustic nylon string guitar with many and varied electric branches. His compositions and playing carry the hallmark of instant recognition.
