"There are a multitude of adjectives that can be used to describe
singer/songwriter Brendan Rivera's music. Although, The word that comes
to mind most often is simply Real. On his debut solo release "Body Of
Land", Rivera covers subject matter that anyone who is willing to listen
can relate to. In today's musical landscape where originality and pop
music rarely co-exist, Rivera has found a happy medium. Songs like
"Miles" incorporate a full band while "Just A Little More Flavor" and
"We're All We Know" embrace the lazy summer jam vibes. With the
addition of stripped down acoustic songs like "Blue" and "Faux
Plastique," Rivera has put together a diverse album showcasing just a
taste of his expansive songwriting skills.
Never one to be fully satisfied, Rivera constantly writes and records
music. When asked about his motivation behind his constant flow of
ideas, his response is simple; "I do it because I need to."
