The Breakaways

We are the kings, the kings of nothing, we're the mother, mother fucking, mother fuckers just slipping by, waiting for our time to die. Since 2005 we've been writing songs, playing shows, recording songs, and selling cds. Since 2005 we've written over 50 songs, We've been kicked out of venues and been asked back, We've seen everything from homeless men stepping inside to get out of the cold to bar fights which end with broken bottles, bloody faces, and the police. we've rented u-haul trailers to tour and found ourselves at ceder point, we've shown up late for 80% of our shows, We've gotten so drunk before playing that we passed out in the parking lot, we've gotten so fucked up on drugs before that we forgot where we were or what we were doing. Since 2005 we've been a D.I.Y punk band from the HTP. September 2008 we broke up and went our separate ways. Austin and Gage started a hardcore punk band called "Assault Squad". Dan and Mike joined The Battle of Attrition. We had a long run and we have no regrets. Thanks to everyone who supported us since the beginning.
