DESCRIPTION:
Getting their start performing as a pick-up band in the May Day Parade, The Brass Messengers have been playing together for two decades. The band plays everything from parades to rallies to national festivals and has a range of influences including Balkan and folk music. In this clip, they perform in Powderhorn Park, where they first formed over 20 years ago.
