Boya and Saskilla together played their part in the development of underground garage music into what we know today as grime. Both burst onto the scene in a big way in 2002 by featuring on the critically acclaimed Lord of The Decks 2 DVD. Where their unique style and witty lyrics caught the ears of a grime nation which quickly cemented them as major contenders in the game. After undergoing some serious ground work within the industry by liaising with several big wigs in the game and both undertaking a work experience spell with SONY BMG records, the pair joined New Brand Flex in the summer of 2004 along with fellow mic controller: Likle-P and subsequently began to carve a bigger niche for themselves in this business we call music. Performing on stage at near enough every major outdoor festival through out the year. Luton Carnival, Anti Racist Festival as well Victoria Park Festival which was an invite from Lady Sovereign, were all blessed with the groups vocals. More and more tracks soon began to be recorded with collaborations all through out the grime scene and beyond. The group have worked with such artists as Lethal B, Wiley, Lady Sovereign, Essentials, FLIRTA D and SLK just to name a few. More lyrics were written and more radio sets were being attended and a very substantial fanbase soon began to emerge from the hours that were put into development. Tracks are distributed through an independent sales team or via the world wide web. Striver joined the camp in 2003 and was the mastermind behind rising star Chanels first hit single, Dreamin which featured our very own Saskilla and the ever ostentatious Mr WONG. The track reached 8 in the Channel U Charts. Striver also produced the Gsh By Da Hour track, which somewhat speaks for itself. Likle-P and Saskilla later released Wussy Phat. A creative, comical jibe at that common adversary we have all come to know as HATERS!. The video received over 88,000 views on the RWG-MAG website. With very strong upcoming releases, videos and a short film looming the air, the boys are definitely moving from strength to strength. With a very positive attitude toward their music and a creative infectious styles, we look set to be struck with many more hits!
