Hailing from the streets of Kingsborogh BK and reigning today's lyrics with his insightful, hard-hitting and truthful rhymes, the man known as Boogie is shaping the mold for the much-awaited evolution of Hip Hop, as we know it.



No comparison or generalization is worthy to describe this rap phenomenon, whose strongest musical influences stem from his family. With his DJ father, who was famous in the projects for throwing block parties back in the day, to his brother "Smoothe", who got recognition as a credible rapper, these family ties formed the foundation of the boy, who grew up to be the man, who has transformed to be the rapper that the streets are calling the "savior".



Gerald McCrae II was born in the hood with all its positive and negative aspects, which have created a unique and completely talented narrator, who skillfully and yet so easily depicts the intricacies and tribulations that every hungry man faces. His lyrics, go deep into the valleys of loss and love, which challenges the listeners to listen to the words and not just nod to the beat, its a lifetime of gathering experience and not just a one-off event that have tailored him to be the storyteller who has endless stories to tell.



His confident flare has had him compared to a successful fellow Brooklyn native; however, Boogies assets dont stop at his ability to flow. Having launched The Breakfast Club Production Company, he not only writes, composes and produces his own music he also writes, composes and produces songs for others, having worked with artists such as the R&B songstress Nicole Wray and having featured with Bobby Valentino, Boogies talents have broken through the industry walls, as its members begin to realize what the streets have known for years. The list of people that have become aware of this mans aptitude through collaborations includes: Timbaland, Trackmastas, Clark Kent, No ID, just to name just a few.



Having just being released from a three-year contract with J Records, Boogie has now taken his knowledge of business; his skills and determination into his own hands and has returned to the his streets to cultivate the next masterpiece. With a hoard of believers, led by the internationally renowned DJ and entrepreneur Nelly Nell, DJ Reddz, DJ Hustleman, DJ Envy, DJ No Doubt, and a host of others Boogie is on his way to eradicate the current bored reputation that has followed rap and give birth to the beginning of a new era.
