For over a decade, a small group of individuals have been recording and releasing some of Central Floridas finest, and most abrasive, Rock-n-Roll. Bony Orbit Records ( formerly known as BentMother Records ) was founded in late 1994 by recording engineer / producer - BeNt, and area musician/songwriter - Xtian Goblyn.
Originally an outlet for music and art created by Xtian and his brother Mierd, Bony Orbit has since grown to work with the likes of Chuck Ragan (Hot Water Music), The Green Goblyn Project, HCA, The Obscene, Skif Dank, and literally hundreds of others. We have opened the doors of our fully equipped studio to the public, at the guaranteed lowest hourly rate on the east coast, just to make sure no artists are left unheard.
The mantra of Bony Orbit Records is as follows: We don't want to see any more groundbreaking musicians fall through the cracks of an unforgiving scene, and a closed minded state, only to wind up dissolved, and unrecognized.
Working cooperatively, Bony Orbit Records shows bands how to achieve their individual goals, provided the bands are willing to work to obtain those goals. We are very proud of our history, and feel as though we have succesfully made a mark on the face of the Florida underground music scene.

The latest compilation to be released by BOR, Where The Rockets Explode Vol. 666, includes tracks from all the Bony Orbit bands, as well as from several friends of the label. The Dwarves, Leftover Crack, Mad Sin, Hot Water Music, Electric Frankenstein, and many others shared tracks to help promote a label they believe in.
