Bodie Lee is inspired by the music, fashion and pop culture he experienced as a roller skating xanadude and new wave fashionist in the 70's and 80's. Bodie's recording style often partners boogie & electro funk with Italo disco. His DJ sets primarily showcase nu disco chart-toppers, 80's street beat & rare instrumental dance classics.
With only a handful of single releases since his recording debut in 2007, this small town American DJ / recording artist has somehow made a substantial impression upon the disco scene. His sound and last single release, "Raise Your Aim" was credited by nu disco legend Simon Lee "a beauty . loving your music . love to play it out". Bodie's re-edits have landed in the skillful hands of Baby G / Super Discoteca, Greg Wilson, Smos and Baby B & Dimitri from Paris . and his original tracks & remixes have received excellent personal review from the likes of Pete Herbert, Acos Coolkas, Kelton Prima, Fabrice Lig and Julian Sanza / 2020 Soundsystem!



Bodie is also the creator & overseer of his self-termed Nuboogie series project. He has accessed the original recordings of chart-topping funk & disco hits from the 70's & 80's for rebirth through masterful re-editing & remixing by respected disco doctors. The first Nuboogie release "Beggar & Co. - Somebody Help Me Out", handsomely reworked by Greg Wilson, Elitechnique & DJ Friction is still fresh off the presses and ranking high on the nu disco charts. Strutting along side his solo career is the duo work he has done with Thomas Sari as half of the electro chic outfit "Hustler & Gloss". Bodie has also done music for The Discovery Network (His first commercial collectively won an Emmy) and recently he DJ'ed the launch party for Animal Planet's Whale Wars.



Pioneer in his resident area Boise, ID. USA he has 18 years experience with performances in such places as Maui, Seattle, Amsterdam and Brussels. Funky good times is his verb and slick and sexy defines him. He hopes you enjoy his style and warm disco energy ;)
