London, England– Blue Bambinos publish a new venture in noise, borne of the wish to champion a paradoxically new and yet retro sound. Beat vocals, howling musical saw, lo-fi guitar sounds and a loud dirty primal rhythm pulsate throughout. It is neither blues, garage, punk, real r n’b, rockabilly or jazz, and yet weirdly, and slightly uncomfortably, it is all of them.
Vocals and Musical Saw. Justin Young, charismatic but chaotic. His energy is intoxicating and will either urge you to stand up and dance, or get up and slap him.
Guitar. Callum Sadler, deep dirty rattling blues, a dissident earsplitting player.
Bass. Jose Pereira, brooding dub player with a past of smokey Venezuelan reggae.
Drums. Steve Dwane, old school punk. His endurance is limitless and, like all the Bambinos, the sound is malleable and yet unyielding.
The release of this debut album by the Blue Bambinos is an examination of their various moods and raucous style. It follows their 2007 EP ‘Ethos – Noise from the Thames Delta’ and was modestly recorded on reel to reel audio tape one day in the early months of 2008. For the last two years the Blue Bambinos have played an elemental part in London’s live music circuit, have aired live on Resonance FM, and last year saw them play at Bestival on the Isle of Wight. This year they embarked on a brief tour of Como and outer Milan, Italy.
The album is the ultimate audio flyer for the live feral performance that is the Blue Bambinos. myspace.com/bluebambinos

Blue Bambinos are a dirty, twangy, experimental blues, rockabilly lounge jazz quartet. They play a weird party music - if they play at your party it might get weird, but if your part is weird enough they'll play."

Embracing old school RnB abd some louche jazz leanings, the BBs invent their own invigorating form of left leaning surf music. Groovesome!"
