Benjamin Lechuga: Chilean Guitar Player/Composer.
He Started playing the electric guitar around the age of 10. In 2003, at the age of 15 he was asked to join the band "Delta" and recorded their first album, "Apollyon is free" together.
2005 was a very active year, having important gigs such us opening a show for Stratovarius and winning the "Ibanez Project" contest which made him the first under-18 Ibanez endorsers in Chile,
and probably, worldwide.
With all of this good vibes, on early 2006 Delta gave birth to their 2nd album "Black & Cold" which is available in USA & CANADA via Nightmare Records (www.nightmarerecords.com)
and in Europe through Twilight Distribution.
In October '08 Delta did a double release, the album "Crashbreaker" in company of their first Live DVD "Live at the Beginning."
Delta has been the opening act for bands such as DREAM THEATER, SYMPHONY X , ANGRA, STRATOVARIUS (twice), VISION DIVINE, EDGUY, THE DOORS among others.
Recently Benjamin has been working as an artist for the german tube amps, ENGL AMPS. www.engl-amps.com.
Today, at the young age of 22, Benjamin is preparing to release his 4th studio album with the Delta, that is going to be released by Australis Records. He is also finishing his studies
in composition and instrumental arrangement in Escuela Moderna de Musica, Santiago, Chile and also teaches electric guitar.

Comenzó a tocar guitarra eléctrica a la edad de 10 años. En el 2003 se une a la banda DELTA y graban su primer CD "Apollyon is Free".
El 2005, a los 17 años, fue un año muy activo en su carrera, participando en importantísimas actividades, como abrir el show de de la banda Finlandesa "Stratovarius" en Chile
y ganar el "Ibanez Project", concurso el cual lo conviertió probablemente en el auspiciado más jovén que Ibanez haya tenido en el mundo.
Con todas esas buenas vibras, el 2006 se graba "Black & Cold". disco que es distribuido en USA & CANADA por Nightmare Records (www.nightmarerecords.com) y en Europa por Twilight Distribution.
Luego el 2008 se hace un doble lanzamiento del disco "Crashbreaker" junto al DVD en vivo "Live at The beginning."
Tal currículum fue suficiente como para hacer que Delta haya estado presente en el escenario junto con bandas como
DREAM THEATER, SYMPHONY X , ANGRA, STRATOVARIUS (2 veces), EDGUY, VISION DIVINE, THE DOORS,entre otras.
Recientemente en 2010 Benjamin es apoyado por la prestigiosa marca alemana de amplificadores ENGL AMPS. www.engl-amps.com
Actualmente Delta prepara lanzar su 4ta placa de estudio a través del sello Australis Records, mientras Benjamín se desempeña como profesor de guitarra eléctrica y
estudiante de 4to año en composición & arreglos instrumentales en la Escuela Moderna de Música.
