in the year 2006 a new companion joined us to complete the dark compelling sound.

"BLACKWAVES ist eine Instrumental Band aus Münster/Bielefeld/Dortmund/Hamburg, deren Mitglieder auf eine längere Aktivität in verschiedenen Bands zurückblicken. (KINETIC CRASH COOPERATION, JUNES TRAGIC DRIVE, LOVESONG COMPANY, CHEERLEADERS OF THE APOCALYPSE, SKAPEGOAT).
Gespielt wird eine bedrohliche Soundwand aus Schlagzeug, Gitarre, Bass und Synth. Intensive und atmosphärische Schwere die sich dynamisch auf- und abbaut. Geht in Richtung NEUROSIS oder CULT OF LUNA. Passend zur Musik gibt es manchmal eine Videoprojektion, die das ganze Projekt abrundet und das Horrorfilm-Soundtrack-Potential der BLACKWAVES hervorhebt."
