7 years have gone so fast. Words have been spoken, dreams sung, chords played, roads toured, people met and be sure nothing's going to be forgotten. Ever. Blasting Gelatins is going to take a time off. There's not much to say but giving thanks for all the people we had the chance to share a bit of path with. It was worth it. If you enjoyed it that would give us a reason to be. It was not just music it was being friends, having great fun and most of all growing together, wherever we were and whoever we were. Your names won't be mentioned but you know who you are. Best friends of best times. Everything rolls and it affects you. Life sometimes brings you right where you never thought you'd ended up. And damn you're not sorry then but you're much happier you've walked such a pleasant route to get there. We can't deny we are sad about all of this. It has been a good ride. We'd do that again if we only had the chance. It all ends here. Goodbye.

Have you heard the news? It's all about 3 brand new unreleased songs and a grassy layout. We finally managed to get done with new material and we let you taste 3 of those new ones. More is up to come. We also really felt to let you know that the so-long-loved idea of recording up a full-lenght record is brighter than ever so we are seriously working that way. Stating the meaning of a real 1hour-long record seems useless. Lately, more personal styled music is definately coming out and it's taking its own direction. We are just trying hard and writing a lot in order to collect our best ideas and feelings for this important step. Be with us!

Blasting Gelatins have been reviewed on RockSound October issue. Catchy packaging and pictures reminding of bands such as Simple Plan and Finley. "Just A While" is the long perfect radio friendly soundtrack for your teenage summer if you used to watch "Dawson's Creek" and like emo-indies style.We need to beg your pardon for being spechless for this while but DD got a very serious injury and we are all working hard to be back soon and let you hear what's happening to us and what we are writing along. We feel so lucky to have such friends like you.

We started now working with these guys from BulkMusic. Check out their pages and see what they offer. Many cool bands are in, carrying on a relationship with BulkMusic like VanillaSky, Lost, YourHero, Airway, KnowMargaret, RedSummerTape.They support live music and we appreciated that. For all of you guys who have been waiting to see our ugly faces you can now cheer yourselves up and stop thrilling becuase we put some new shots up. Enjoy them. Stay tuned.

One more clothing company endorsed us. These guys are named Sgurz. See what they look like on thier myspace page and find out if something suits you. Many artists are working with this brand so it must mean a lot. (The New Story, Electric Diorama, Lost, Caparezza, Le Bambole Di Pezza, .) Furthermore, we will soon have brand new pictures we'll be taken with these clothings. Thank you all and stay tuned guys.

Happy news. We got endorsed by a new clothing brand named Brainless Clothing. Check out their stuff on myspace since they are selling online. In addiction we are still recording and it's turning out to be a fine sound. Thank you all and later.

Finally, we landed on the iTunes world! An easier way to have the gelatins on you iPod. Just check out Blasting Gelatins on iTunes so that you can't miss the chance to have our songs with you. Thanks to Andy, Dennis and Chris for making this possible. Anyway we are soon finishing recording and mixing the new songs and make them available for you to listen to. 04/06/2008:

First news for this 2008. The year began and this is coming quite late. We are working hard and school is keeping us studying too much and we apologize.

We been writing new songs though and now recording some of them and they are soon being available here to be checked out. It will take some weeks before they are up so if you are keen on us please ask for them and you will have our whole love. Thank you all for supporting what we are doing.

A SHORT Blasting Gelatins' story.

It was just back in 2001 when Andrew and Prox set up

the early roots of a loser band of kids who used to play

at the local playground. They kept on playing and singing

as a fairy game and they really enjoyed it.

Some years later it turned out to be a true pleasure

and it should have become something more serious

than it had been before.

Several people started to come and go by the time.

Drummers, guitar players.and just Andrew and Prox

stayed, at the end, as years before.

Lots and lots of pretty songs appeared during this

one year stand. Vocals, rythm guitar and bass.

It was all by chance, that is the point, of Prox and DD's

meeting. It happened in a church and as a holy union

they found out they had the same taste in terms of

music. Not that bad if you think they never met before.

It was time to introduce DD to Andrew. These two then

remembered they used to attend the same junior high

school and as they had never got on so well.

Now they were on the same boat because DD had been

playing Blues Brothers for such a long time and Andrew

and Prox were so sick of playing acoustic songs.

That is pretty much all about it all started.

Since that cold fall 2004 they have been playing heaps of

concerts and they are growing as musicians as much as

they are growing inside.
