Mikkel Blankenborg startede sin aktive rap karriere da han var 7 år gammel. Her opdagede hans tidlige stedfar, at han havde en fantatisk måde at bruge ord og vendinger på. Derfor blev han sendt til USA da han var 17 år gammel, for at lære at rappe og komme væk fra det belastede miljø han kom fra i Humlebæk.



I dag er Mikkel Blankenborg 34 år og har præsteret at optræde på de fleste clubs i staterne. Desuden har han gjort sin navn så stort i Belgien at han ikke kan gå på gaden uden 3 personlige bodyguards. Nu er Mikkel Blankenborg kommet tilbage til Danmark for at udgive sin nye plade " When i was growing up with love "
