BLACK STAR BRIGADE * (was) a 4 piece, high energy punk band, with catchy hooks and sing-a-long choruses. Proclaimers of ' Texas Street Punk Rock 'N Roll ' they played a "go for the throat" style of street punk, that blended the angst of the working class with the (sometimes rowdy) commradery of your best drinking buddies. Their live shows were loud, fast and full of raw untamed energy. Their ability to play with bands of all genres and still stand alone was the key to their success, and kept touring acts wanting to share the stage with them any chance they could get.
