Snow Ghosts is a stirring collaboration between the hotly tipped Throwing Snow and recently formed, London-based ensemble, Augustus Ghost. A-side they pillow dive into the drama of 'And The Moon', sounding something like the dreamchild of Clubroot, Björk and Various Production and dominated by Hannah Cartwright's arresting, folksy vocals. The windswept romance of 'Lost Of Sea' follows, perhaps saluting the sepulchral vibe of Zola Jesus in a more subdued, British manner. Flipside, 'Thrice' follows a similar tack to 'Lost At Sea', with added, brooding rave signals flaring out from the gloom before tipping into a killer rollout and the the Fever Ray-esque 'Where The Wild Horses'. This record requires your attention, pronto!
