EPK est un groupe parisien constitué de 6 Mc’s (K éro, Seko, Stenero, Madi, Biram, Maknome) fort des liens qui les unis depuis 1997. C'est là que tout commence, quand Maknom et Seko tout deux originaires du 2Oe arrondissement de Paris créent EPK. De leur coté Biram et Stenero aiguisent leurs plumes dans le 18e aux cotés de Mc's tels que Killer H, Bendeker, Krusty (aka Royal), Prosko (aka Mouss), Samik (Jamacan). En 1999 Biram part au Sénégal ou il établie de nombreuses connexions avec des artistes Dakarois (Abass Abass, Kantiolis, Chronik 2H et les membres du LZ3. Dans la même année Sténero resté a Paris rejoint Maknom et Seko dans le groupe. Biram le suit, c'est donc au Sénégal qu'il fera ses premiers pas au sein du groupe. En 2001 K éro intègre le groupe. C'est lors d'un voyage au sénégal qu'il s'initie a l'ecriture aux cotés de Biram, son cousin. Dès l'année suivante il se lance dans la composition. En 2002 Biram est de retour à Paris et Madi, un ami de longue date integre le groupe; EPKOMANDO est alors au complet. En 2004 ils réalisent leur premiere compilation 100% indé "Esprits Lucides Act I" en collaboration avec leur connexions les plus proches, des groupes comme Lyrikal, Gettho Youth Team, La Famy, AMP.: Le collectif Esprits Lucides est né. Le Rap représente pour le goupe un moyen d’expression, une arme consciente et réfléchie qui suscite en eux un réel désir de création et qui conforte une volonté de pratiquer le « rap à thème ». Malgrés une optique artistique commune chaque membre a su apporter une diversité au point de vue du style ou du flow ce qui fait la force et l'originalité du groupe.

In 2002 Biram is back to Paris and Madi, a long-time friend integrate the group; EPKOMANDO is then completely. In 2004 they realize their first compilation 100 % indie."Esprits Lucides Act I" in association with them the most close connections, groups as Lyrikal, Gettho Youth Team, Famy, AMP: The collective Lucid Spirits was born. Rap represents for the goupe a means of expression, an aware(conscious) and thoughtful weapon which arouses in them a real desire of creation and which consolidates a will to have a practice "Rap in subject". And every member brought a variety, in style and flow, what makes the force and the originality of the group.
