"Are You Selling Out?"

By Bilal Ahmad

How do some recording artists manage to sell thousands of mixtapes so easily, stacking thousands of pounds and dollars in profits, while others run straight into brick walls trying to sell even a few hundred copies? What if YOU could rev up YOUR mixtape sales by 10%, 20%, 30% or even more without throwing extra wads of cash into your mixtape project? How much more money would you be banking as a result?

If you're .

an emcee

a singer

a musician

a public speaker

a manager for any of the above

. then I'm about to spill the beans on the most overlooked truth about selling your mixtape.

If you're wondering what this most overlooked truth is - and it's not even a secret - I'll tell you now: it's building strong relationships with people!

You see, only about 2% of people buy from complete strangers first time around. Normally, it takes between five to seven conversations before someone reaches into their pockets, hands over their hard-earned cash and walks off with a smile. And it's quite simple really; they just don't know you. Not only do they not know you, guess what? They probably don't like you either! And to add insult to injury, they definitely don't trust you!

These three conditions of knowing you, liking you and trusting you must be met, in that order, before the sale goes down. Have you ever bought from someone you didn't trust? Have you ever trusted someone you didn't like? Have you ever liked someone you didn't know? Me neither.

Knowing this, successful mixtape entrepreneurs rarely try to sell off the bat. Instead, they play the long game, slowly taking time to get to know their potential customers whilst allowing their potential customers to get to know them. A relationship is formed and gradually their potential customers start to like them. A little while later, trust is established and at this point, getting the sale is no longer a hustle. He or she is now happy to buy from you, feels good about the sale and will probably tell his friends and family about the banging mixtape he or she just bought from you.

So why don't more mixtape artists do this? There are a number of reasons:

Firstly, as we've just discussed, most of them are not consciously aware of how important building the relationship is. Secondly, this very simple process, which can be done by anyone, has never been explained to them.

The good news though is that I'm about to blow the whistle on this often overlooked but very simple process and once I've done this, you too will be able to unlock the hidden mixtape sales which have been staring you in the face the whole time!

As a professional sales consultant myself, I've sold many products and services ranging in price from £5 to £140,000 using exactly the same principles to make the sale time and time again.

My frustration began when I started to see talented mixtape artists missing out on tons of sales that they should've been winning, simply because of how they approached their potential customers. As a result, I decided to share my years of sales experience and pass on the secrets I had picked up along the way.

So here's what I'd like to share with you:

How to get your name known on the streets literally overnight

How to get crowds of people running you down for your next release

How to build solid relationships with all of your potential customers

How to get past potential customers' natural defence mechanisms that prevent you making the sale

How to guarantee that you only sell to people who want to buy your mixtape

If you think you can benefit from these simple but effective strategies, just call me on +44 (0) 7534 07 47 37.

It's gonna be good!
