At the edge of the new millennium a fresh sound is emerging from the wonderfully talented songwriter and vocalist, Blush. The Pittsburgh based soulful singer/songwriter began singing at a very early age and received vocal training while attending the Creative and Performing Arts High School.
It was during those years that she became part of the contemporary gospel group Nu Prayz. Her style has been compared to legends such as , Whitney Houston, Kim Burrell. Lauryn Hill, and Angie Stone, whom she was fortunate enough to write for, just to name a few. As a result, Bianca became a recognizable voice throughout the Tri-State area and eventually caught the attention of a local music studio.
It was at this studio, Yamomzhouse, that she was asked to be a vocalist on the project that would receive a Mid-Atlantic Emmy Award for the documentary, "Fly Boys: Western Pennsylvania's Tuskegee Airmen." Blush can also be heard singing jingles on WAMO 106.7 , Pittsburgh's leading radio station for Hip-Hop, Soul, and R&B. Blush's modern day soul style is well sought after on college campuses and the new free-style clubs.
At the edge of this new millennium Blush has reached an ever-growing number of fans via the internet and has already garnered over 200,000 plays on her MySpace page both nationally and internationally.
