Raymond Ebanks | MC

L_ENG: Born in London, grew up in Helsinki (Finland). Dad is Jamaican, Mom is Finnish. One of the pioneers of hip-hop in Finland, since the mid 80's. Used to be in various underground hip-hop bands. First studio stuff from 1994. After that various record projects, like Soup de Loop, before Bomfunk MC's. Worked on TV and in clubs as MC. Born: 10Th of November,1970.

DJ Gismo

Ismo Lappalainen | ex-DJ

L_ENG: Originally from Kokkola, has been living in Turku (Finland) for 5 years. Debuted as DJ at the age of 15, playing mostly house and techno. Dedicated record collector: collects mostly soul, funk, groove and 60-90's hip-hop. Deeply rooted in the Turku club scene, DJing at places such as Funky Kitchen & Opera. Born: 15Th of September, 1975. Left the band on 09.09.2002. Now is member of rock band Stonedeep.

Mr. Willy (DJ Will Power)

Ville Makinen | Bass/keyboard player

L_ENG: First started to play guitar when he was 7 years old. Now the main instrument is bass which he has been playing for nine years. Also well known as breakbeat and funk DJ. Member of breakbeat duo Supervillains. Many other projects and bands. Has studied classical music and double bass. Played as a studio musician in several bands. Has worked as a hospital assistant too. Bass: Washburn, AMP: Ampeg, Keyboard: Micro Moog, Accessvirus Indigo. Born: 1975. Also is member of heavy metal band Manzana, also breaks in clubs as DJ.

Ari Toikka | Drummer

L_ENG: Started to play drums when he was 10 years old. First instrument was piano at age 7 and then classical guitar which he studied for 8 years. Works also as a studio engineer and producer. Has made over 3000 gigs. Has played in over 50 recordings. Has worked at cemetery too. Cymbals: Paiste 2002, dimensions, Electric drums: Roland, Drums: Ludwig and Premier. Born: 1970.

Skillsters (DJ Infekto & Okke)

Riku Pentti, Okke Komulainen | DJ, Keyboard player

L_ENG: Joined Bomfunk MC's in 2002 after Dj Gismo left the band. Riku is a DJ. Works in Tampere club scene. DJ names are DJ Infekto, DJ Rek, Mr. Booty. He spins drum'n'bass, speed garage, hip-hop and trip-hop, with some added house flavour. Okke worked for years behind the counters of Tampere record stores like Epe's and Cosmos and is also the keyboard wizard of the easy listening/lounge pop group Super.
