BETTY VALE has been blessed with a natural and distinctive voice.
Since unveiling her debut album RED in 2007, the forever evolving Betty Vale, has been hard at work creating her brand new sound.
Collaborating with renowned ARIA nominated producer Jamie Fonti, (Caligula, Primary, Wendy Mathews and Connie Mitchell from Sneaky Sound System). Betty's upcoming album promises to excite. She has tr.uly shaped a sound that is distinctively hers while also blending some of her foremost musical influences which include the likes of Shirley Bassey, Ella Fitzgerald, Grace Jones, Fleetwood Mac, Bjork and Queen.
"I have spent a great deal of time working on this album and it has meant that I have really been able to reflect on my message and polish the sound of the songs", says Vale.
Lyrically, this album is a very honest and raw outpouring of emotions. Musically it expresses the highs and lows experienced from more than a decade of working to exceed her personal ambitions within a tough music world. The overall sound is far more edgy than Betty Vales previous work.
Betty has emerged a more mature, powerful, and far more rounded artist. Fans will be incredibly pleased with this new album and even pleasantly surprised by the fusion of styles, which has one common denominator… that distinct Betty Vale tone.
During the time that Betty has been working on and fine tuning this latest album she has also worked with some of the best international DJ/Producers (Jamie Lewis, HiFi Mike, Tommy Trash, Kings of Tomorrow and Ian Pooley to name a few). She has been able to draw on experience gained from performing on some of the countries biggest events; Good Vibrations, Gatecrasher, One Love and Sleazeball, and has had sought after gigs at venues like The Basement and Vanguard. Betty Vale is not only an artist she is also an accomplished songwriter who has had her music used on a variety of major advertising campaigns nationally and globally.
On working with Vale, Jamie Fonti says, "Betty delivers as both a vocalist and writer in a big way. Easily one of the best collaborations I've worked on in years. I love Betty's ability to write simple direct lyrics which are open to multiple interpretations as well as her huge vocal delivery bringing life to each song perfectly"
