A C.D version of the album is due to be released on Wrong Syde Records on the 01/05/2012.
The album was recorded at Highbury studio in Kings Heath and marks an expansion in their sound from the garage punk template of the first album. Traditional song structures have been expanded and mangled and the sound now incorporates synths, brass and tape effects as well as improvised passages.
Betty & The Id were formed at the start of 2007 and began gigging in March of that year.
Since their inception the group have gigged incessantly honing a formidable and intense live experience.
In May 2008 the group released their debut EP, Neutron World. A few copies are still available from www.bettyandtheid.bigcartel.com
The debut album "The Wrong Side Of Everything" was released in May 2009. The album was recorded and mixed over a two-day period in December 2008 at Toe Rag analogue studio, Hackney, live onto Studer A-80 1 inch 8-track tape machine using a vintage backline and minimal overdubs. It was released as a limited edition of 100 copies and is now sold out. It is still available for download from itunes, amazon etc.
A 3" mini cd "Skeletons" followed on Halloween 2009 and this is also now sold out.
