Bernd Hegeler

"FOOLPROOF" is a single person project.
All compositions, arrangements, lyrics, voices and instruments are written and executed by Bernd Hegeler.
He was born on September 28th 1962 in Bremerhaven, a seaport town in northwest Germany. Since he was 13 years old he was guitar player and singer in several bands, for a long time in a band named "Rollsplitt-Rock", which performed own songs with german lyrics. This formation even had a Show in Oldenburg theatre of state - together with the orchestra of state - in 1984.
While doing different apprenticeships and jobs as script painter, scene painter or illustrator he was guitarist and singer in several bands as well, making lyrics and compositions for some different projects. Also he was member in rock cover bands. He is a self educated person in all he is. Painting or doing music - he does not know one music note, no one was able to show him how to draw or paint, all he taught himself.
