Securing his first residency at a nightclub called DOPE, or Development Of Progressive Energy, Verse stormed the club every weekend along with the likes of Marcus Intalex, Glen from A.I. and TC1. It was one of these weekends that Verse met Clayton F of Renegade Hardware, a pioneering record label in the Drum and Bass industry. Recognizing his talent and and stage pressence, Clayton gave him his first gig at The End in 1998.

Since that night in London Verse's career has soared Performing extensively throughout the UK, Europe, Japan, America, Australia, New Zealand and Canada, the only continent to have missed out on witnessing Verse in action is Antarctica. Verse recently laid down vocals for a new track on Teebee & Calyx's new album Anatomy.
