Hailing from that quaint seaside sailing village in Maryland, Annapolis' own "Ben's Bones," have been playing their exciting brand of acoustic rock at many of the area's best clubs for over eight years. They've opened for well-known bands such as the Gin Blossoms, Jerry Jeff Walker, Dick Dale, The Presidents of the United States of America and The Church. Frontman Dan Haas has recorded with members of the Barenaked Ladies and Guster.

Led by the unique song writing of Haas, the band has frequented the airwaves from worldwide satellite radio to the local terrestrial stations throughout the Northeast. In 2003, they had the number one song on XM radio's Unsigned channel. They've performed all over Maryland and DC, Virginia, New York, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Atlanta and throughout the Caribbean. The band has been delighted to have sold out the Ram's Head OnStage in Annapolis, a high capacity venue that hosts national acts.

By winning a national contest, the band received their own performance slot on The Rock Boat. On the boat, the band played with a large number of acts including Sister Hazel, Tonic, Cowboy Mouth, Pat McGee Band, Shawn Mullins, Michael Tolcher, David Ryan Harris, Gavin DeGraw, Virginia Coalition, Chuck Carrier, and others.

"Goodbye Moon" was recorded back in 2002 and was named one of the top ten "do it yourself" albums of 2003 by Performing Songwriter magazine. The band's studio album, "Wishful Thinking," was produced by Frank Marchand, of Jimmie's Chicken Shack & All Mighty Senators fame. The result is an exciting rock based record.

The band's most recent release is "Live at the Ram's Head OnStage," a live recording of a performance at the venue in Annapolis, MD. This album documents much of the new material that the band has been playing at recent shows. Come out to a show and pick up your copy!
