This is my space. I love music, I like to play any kind of music that has substance to it whether it be a groove, a beautiful ballad, something funky, basically anything with heart and soul. I've had the good fortune in my life to make a living playing music, my main credentials are that I'm a jazz/funk/blues/R&B/soul keyboardist/organist/writer/singer with a few solo albums out and work as a sideman for a lot of people. I've made 4 solo albums which you can check out on my website at www.benjieporecki.com and have appeared as a sideman on lots of other people's projects. As a sideman and sitting in I've worked with Patti Labelle, Isaac Hayes, Angie Stone, Chuck Brown, Angela Bofill, Nelson Rangell, Maysa, Vesta, Pieces Of A Dream, Mary Wilson, Regina Belle, Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan and many others.

How Does It Feel? is my latest solo effort and most ambitious to date. The album celebrates and expresses the broad spectrum of the joys of life and love. The twelve songs are original compositions written, produced, and performed by me. Embracing modern technology and traditional instruments has given the production of this album the best of both worlds. While providing some very organic and timeless textures, the music was captured in a state of the art recording, making it warm and pleasurable to listen to and absorb. The album features masterful grooves created by me and top-notch, world class bassists and drummers David Dyson (New Kids On The Block, M'shell Ndegeocello), Gary Grainger (John Scofield), Andre "Blues" Webb (Najji, Bebe & Cece Winans), Greg Grainger (Whitney Houston, Acoustic Alchemy), and Alejandro Lucini (Origem). Tracy Hamlin provides beautifully conceived and executed background vocals s, while Alvin White and Mike Ault seamlessly share guitar duties. A full horn section is blowing on 4 of the tunes, and Alfredo Mojica can be heard throughout, masterfully architecting the percussion tracks.

The songs currently on my page are 3 studio cuts from my new album "How Does It Feel?" which was just released on March 7th and 2 cuts from a live gig recently with saxophonist Craig Alston featuring Mark Stewart on drums, David Dyson on bass, Alvin White on guitar, myself s, and Graig Alston on sax. "How Does It Feel?" is available for purchase on my other website www.benjieporecki.com via paypal on www.cdbaby.com/cd/benjieporecki It is also available on i-tunes and many of the other major download sites. You can check out more about me at www.benjieporecki.com. I'm hoping to reconnect with some old friends and connect with some new friends through my space.Peace~Benjie
