Beneath A Dead Sky

Beneath A Dead Sky is a five piece metal act from western New Jersey. After several lineup changes the band is as you see it to your left. In January 2006, Beneath A Dead Sky released their first EP ‘Communion’ recorded by Marc Eisenmann (the Killing). The four song album treaded the waters of metal-core and sexy. Early spring of 2007 marked the beginning of a new direction with new lineup and a new recording titled Annihilation Day recorded by Jaycee (JFNico Productions). Beneath A Dead Sky has performed with such acts as: Through the Eyes of the Dead, The Agony Scene, The Red Death (RiP), Cannae, Ed Gein, Despised Icon, Across Five Aprils, In Pieces, Emmure, Bled Across Miles, Year of Desolation, Bloodlined Calligraphy, Accursed Dawn (RiP), Anterrabae (RiP). Beneath A Dead Sky has performed in such states as NJ, PA, OH, IL, IN, MD, and CT. If we haven’t played in your state, hit us up.



On Feb. 11th, 2007 we lost a member of the BADS family Ed $, Fast Eddie, and whatever you may have called him. It's really tough losing one of your own and it's also tough walking away from one of Ed's mean backhands in the pit. We'll dearly miss Ed, and his memory will live on forever. hardcore.



On August 17th, 2009 we lost another member of BADS family Eric Lair. His work can be heard on the track A means to the end. He didn't record the bass line but it was written by him and not that much changed. He was a very talented individual with a lot of creativity. It sucks to say we lost another brother but we will keep our heads high and keep making music. Because that is what our friend would have kept doing.
