It began at tender age of 13, (a tall 13) i went to my first 'rave' - 200 of us crammed in to a dingy Manchester hole called The Limit - probably referring to its fire capacity! It was a monday night - called 'Mr Monday'. Smoke, poppers and Vicks vaporub permeating through many a happy-hardcore riff. The place was shut down soon after, probably for underage admission! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

A few years later, the diet had changed to chunky house pumped out by the likes of Graeme Park, Tom Wainwright, Allister Whitehead - LONG LIVE HACIENDA, LEADMILL, CREAM, ETC. But lets try and forget about those awful shiny shirts. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Spent time working/lurking at the legendary Hacienda, and Privilege in ibiza. Put on a few nights of my own too in various places (some good, some not so good!) - djs including Seb Fontaine and Jon Pleased Wimmin. Good times! but soon got bored as the scene's freshness disappeared up DJs' arses- each seeking out their own brand of 2-hour monotony - IT'S ABOUT QUALITY MUSIC, NOT DJs! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

i locked myself away, to stare inanely at a small screen for hours on end (this is called music production). The vibe was housey, a tune would take months to complete, and end up sounding err. never as good as you originally thought - we've all been there! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The next chapter sees darker sounds taking over, inspired by the new club on the block - Fabric. Awesome venue + crowd + THAT soundsystem! The only place to witness the fat array of beats 'n' breaks churned out by Sasha, James Lavelle, Evil 9, Adam Freeland and the Plumps. Class A entertainment! Even its unconventional nights are winners - like Von Sudenfedt live. Watchin Mark E Smith kicking trannies about the stage! priceless. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Now busy finishing a whole host of tracks accumulated over last 18 months, due for completion over next dew weeks. Check out 'CALL THE MANAGER' & 'KNOW THESE SONGS!' previews end May 09. Both are sounding better by the day. So. Watch (and of course, listen) to this space. . .- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
