Hey hey hey, we're Bearsuit!
We're currently in the studio recording a new album with Gareth Parton of Go Team! fame.
Earlier this year we released two digital singles - Pushover and Muscle Belt and also played a string of gigs at SXSW, as well as at festivals including The Great Escape and Offset in the UK.
We've supported bands including Crystal Castles, Ipso Facto, Melt Banana, Future of the Left, Lightspeed Champion, Hot Chip, Ida Maria, Party Shank, and The Research.
Last year we spent the fall on foreign shores with a 16-date tour of the US of A, taking in Boston, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Chicago, Grand Rapids, St Louis and Pittsburgh, as well as a string of well-received show at New York’s CMJ Music Marathon festival.
We were voted ‘Best Breakthrough Act’ at CMJ in a New York Times poll of conference badge holders and received shining reviews including Pitchfork.
We've been championed by BBC DJs including John Peel, Steve Lamacq, Huw Stephens, Rob Da Bank, Phill Jupitus, Marc Riley, Tom Robinson, Colin Murray, Gideon Coe and John Kennedy on XFM.
