1995.

In June we started the band.

It was Puncc (vocals/guitar), Pitch (drums) and Punccs cousin; Joe.L (bass). We named it Riot and started to rehearse.

1996.

In May we hit the rehearsingroom studio and recorded one track, "No brain". And a month later we did our first official gig, and at the same time we changed our name to Clockwork Riot.

1997.

In March we presented a new bassplayed, "Lirarn". Joe.L moved to rythm guitar. But in august the same year Joe.L left the band to play heavy metal. So a close friend to the band, "Ford" (rythm guitar) joined instead. With this line up we recorded a 6 song demo-tape in November called "Accused". This is when we adopted the name Battle scarred.

1998.

In April we got a record deal with german Dim records.

A bass player was called in, a bloke called "Bootan" (the singer of Joe.Ls new band.) But short before the recording in September, he left to concentrate on the metal band. But never the less we recorded our selftitled debut album in October in Studio Valhall with Puncc playing the bass. Short after the recording. A new bass player was presented. "Dalle". He had played the bass for another band before -SIMNEL CAKE, a pop-punk band wich Pitch had started as a side project.

1999.

In August we were supposed to do a gig at a major Oi! festival in Sweden, but the media had made a big fuss about it in a negative way. And Ford

couldnt handle it and decided to quit the band.

2000.

Dalle left the band in April. And just about the same time we were kicked out of the place where we rehearsed

We found a new bassplayer in June. "Svulf" who was the brother of a close friend of ours who had been around in a couple of local punkbands.

2001.

We finally got a place of our own to rehearse called combat studios and rehearsed some new songs wich we recorded short after in studio "Prikken" in Gefle (These are the songs that 4 years later became the "Our unity is our strength" EP). Two of those songs ended up on the "Brewed in Sweden II" compilation. .

After the recording a slow-motion-period hit the band where we all ended up doing side-projects.

2002.

Punccs side-project BOVVER BRIGADE featured "Tresket" on vocals and rythm guitar. And as we started to rehearse again with Battle scarred, he was brought in as a rythm guitarist.

2003.

In september we were about to do our first gig since 1997 in Eskilstuna (Sweden) But Tresket announced one day before the gig he couldt play. And Pitch had to tour with his side-project FENCE 52. So at the very same day as the gig, we tried out "Jocke" as a drummer at rehearsals as a stand in. And actually made a pretty good gig!

2004.

In January we had booked a studio to record six songs for a split-cd with UNIT LOST (Wich in the end ended up as a split "7 with two songs each instead) And again Pitch was away touring. We proceeded the recording with Puncc on the drums, and "DP" from THE JINX as a special guest. And after the session we agreed to call in Jocke as a drummer and at the same time let go of Tresket who had a go as a troubadour/folk-musician under the name LARS ANDERS JOHANSSON.

We recruited our friend "Pontan" as a guitar-player instead, leaving Puncc as a rythm-guitarist.

This new lineup played the 2004 Kuggnas festival in Sweden in August. And back home from that we started the recording of out seccond fullength "Oi! Oi! music, football & beer" wich Pitch jumped in to play the drums on.

At the same time another deal was made to release the "Our unity is our strength" ep, the old songs that was recorded back in 2001.

2005.

In May Svulf left the band and moved up north, and "Sterre" took over the bass. Some gigs was set up. The Kuggnäs festival, and a gig in Belgium at De Kastelein. Unfortantly Jocke decided to quit the band after the gigs since he was involved in a biker-club, and playing with his other band PITBULLFARM. He found that he had no time anymore.

2006.

An early gig in Germany took place, and we borrowed "Läderlappen", a friend of us to play the drums. By this time Pitch, our original drummer had come back to be our permanent drummer again. And Sterre had left the band to concentrate on his kids, and his other band VÖLUND SMED. In April we recorded our 3:rd fullenght "Thunder & Lightning" with "Bisson" on bass. Puncc and him had played together for years in other bands, such as FORBIDDEN RAGE etc. But he just jumped in for the recording. And after that Svulf made his comeback. A split ep with KAMPFZONE was released, and at the end of the year we went back to Germany to play.

2007.

A pretty quiet year. We started the recording of our 4:th Fullength "Gevalia" in May. But due to problems with our record company, the whole thing was laid on ice leaving a half done recording just laying around. We went on the road and recorded some with our other bands instead. We did one gig in Västerås-Sweden though.

2008.

We finnished recording "Gevalia" in February, but we still need to mix it. Gigs in Belgium and Germany are planned. Weve also had a local radio "hit" with a Swedish song called "Vi är Gefle IF" (We are Gefle IF) written for comercial/player presentation for the football team.

2009.

While touring with our other bands, we have made a serious effort to at last finnish the mixing of our new cd "Gevalia". Teakettle-Jones are as we speak in the studio finnish the bits and pieces that are missing. And at the time we are looking for a label to put it out. Weve so far played at Moloko in belgium, and have been booked at this years "Kuggnäs festival" in august. And have planned German and Dutch gigs. Svulf has left the band to continue his work in GHOULS OF GRACELAND (Good luck mate!) and Puncc have been taking over the bass duties. Weve also done a video of "This is who we are" as a promo for the new cd, check it out on Youtube!
