On March 24, 2010, rising Afropop star Bassekou Kouyate and his band, Ngoni Ba, stopped by The Sanctuary for Independent Media in Troy, New York, for an incredible night of blues, rock, and West African musical fusion.

Bassekou Kouyate plays lead ngoni.
Ngoni Ba are Amy Sacko (vocals), Moussa Bah (bass ngoni), Alou Coulibaly (calabash), Fousseyni Kouyate (ngoni), Oumar Kouyate (ngoni), Moussa Sissoko (percussion).

"Ladon" was the final song from the band's main set, and is from the band's most recent album, 2009's "I Speak Fula" on Sub Pop Records.
