Who is Barrington Henderson? Well, if you don't recognize the name, you most certainly have heard the voice.
With a professional career that spans more than two decades, Barrington Henderson, affectionately known as Bo is a diverse singer who seemed destined for a career in music from his early youth. Born in Washington, PA and raised in a musical family. Bo showed a passion for music at the age of three. By age five, Bo had learned to play several different instruments.
In 1986, Bo joined Lakeside, a successful R&B group originating out of Dayton, Ohio. He was featured on several albums, most notably, Power, and Party Patrol (imports), with lead vocal on the hit ballad, Bulls Eye and shared lead on their hit Beatles cover, I Wanna Hold Your Hand.
In 1996, Bo worked with R&B/Jazz artist, Phil Perry, writing and arranging, I'm Sorry, featured on Phil Perrys album, One Heart, One Love (1998).
In 1998, Bo joined The Temptations and enjoyed much success with the Legendary group for over five years. Bo debuted with The Temptations on the double-platinum CD, Phoenix Rising and was featured in the music video, Stay and featured on lead vocals and music video for "How Could He Hurt You?" The follow up CD, Ear-Resistible garnered the group a Grammy for Best Traditional R&B Vocal Album, again featuring Bo as lead vocalist on several tracks. The Temptations 58th album, Awesome featured Bo's original composition entitled, My Baby.
After recording and sharing the stage with some of the influential groups that he grew up listening to, Bo pursued a solo career and has achieved success with his CD entitled, Best Kept Secret.
