BAROQUE

However, it is not only the captain's powerful mind to rouse dread among the people (They said that Mat is in continuos contact with Other Worlds), but the whole Baroque Army under his command: the bewitched harpsichord of the Longnailed Bard Stephano Thiozzo (son of a very powerful witch), built with the worked bones and the teeth of the many unlucky who dared not to show him some respect, denigrating the longwinded slowness with which he uses to lead each conversation; the war drums of Alessandrov Ghigov, gipsy boxer hired as a mercenary after Mat had saw him killing a bull with fists, for bet, in a Shangai infested by the civil war; the mad baron Albert VonGhigov's bass ( it is said that he is Alessandrov brother, separated at birth) . the most fearable of three, whose sense of the humour is equal only to the sadism with which mocks and tortures the poor children who think to find in him a perfect companion of games for the afternoon .
The barokkian armada, has infested for little more than three years the musical residences of all town, charming the mad hapless masses (they all are frighteningly beautiful) with infernal rhythms, phantasmagorical chords, farcical choruses and demoniac Assoli . masses which would follow them up at the end of the darkest pit for their music masses which have already got damned for eternity for having abused that sweet poisonous nectar.
