Can I chew on that?
I use the name Barklessdog - like the basenji/barkless dog, I can't really sing, but like a basenji I am not mute.

I was always a 'fine artist' first hand, having gone to a fine arts college (the CIA), which formed my thinking. I started playing music with the likes of Dan Maurer & Rich Engle, which were huge influences on me musically, as well as my older brother who is not a musician, but has a very large music collection. He turned me on to many wild & wonderful artists. During my college years I was in several proggish bands with amazing musicians such as Jim Juhn, Mike Tomasic, Ron Olds, Duane Bubsy, Dave Friedman & others, which really shaped my song writing and musical direction. I owe a huge amount of what I am today to Jim who introduced me to his friend Mike Docy, who indulged my solo bass playing in it's childhood. The Kahler tremolo & Gibson RD Artist bass are essential to my sound.

As with the above-mentioned musicians I just have to keep moving forward musically.
