Bangladesh fue creada en 2003 por Susan Santos como banda para expresar sus propias composiciones.
Sus canciones son buenas canciones de pop,rock, mezclado con black music (soul,funk, groove,acidjazz,blues). Melodía en su voz y toques blues en su enérgica forma de tocar la guitarra.
En 2006, graban su primer disco "Bangladesh fever vol. I", presentado en la FNAC de Madrid, con el cual han recorrido salas de todo el país, algunos festivales, como PlayCáceres, compartiendo escenario con Chambao y también han sido premiados en varios concursos musicales.
En 2008, entre concierto y concierto, se remodela la banda con la formación actual: Susan Santos, voz y guitarra y la sólida base de Ismael Tovar al bajo y Daniel Cardiel a la batería.
En este 2009, se adentran en la aventura de grabar en cinta su nuevo disco. Todo instrumentos, amplificadores y micros de los años 60'- 70',Tecnología analógica 100%. Un reto con el que han querido decir no a la nuevas tecnologías por ordenador, y dar paso al sonido cálido y natural q tiene grabar en cinta y todos a la vez, "como un concierto en directo ". Grabado en Funkorama Estudios(Madrid) por Carlo Coupé y masterizado por Ángel Álvarez.
Este nuevo disco bajo el título "Feel better", en honor a unos de los temas incluidos en el cd, y también para expresar el buen momento por el que la banda está pasando. "Feel better" verá la luz en breve.
Bangladesh, creada y madurada por y para los directos ataca esta temporada con nuevo disco y con actuaciones por toda España.

Bangladesh was formed in 2003 by Susan Santos in order to express and promote her skills as a songwriter. Its music blends pop and rock with black music (soul, funk, groove, acidjazz) combining melodic vocals based on a strong blues foundation of guitar playing. In 2006 they recorded their first album "Bangladesh Fever vol. I", which was showcased at Madrid's FNAC followed by a tour around the country including playing some festivals such as PlayCáceres, sharing the stage with Chambao and winning awards in several music competitions. During 2008 between concerts, the band underwent some changes to become what is today's lineup: Susan Santos, vocals and guitar, the solid base of Ismael Tovar on bass and Daniel Cardiel on drums.
In 2009 Bangladesh returned to the studio to record their new album. All instruments, amplifiers and microphones used were from the 60's and 70's, that is to say 100% analogue. The band chose to say no to modern recording technology and give way to warm and more natural sounding equipment recording directly onto tape as a group as if it were a live concert. Recorded at Funkorama Studies (Madrid) by Carlo Coupé & masterized by Ángel Álvarez. The new album called "Feel better" - also the title track - sums up the feeling at this moment the band is going through. "Feel better" will be out soon . Bangladesh was created for the live performance and enters this season with a new album and shows across Spain. Watch out this band with a strong female leader is gaining attention.
