Pocas veces hemos escuchado un sucesor tan digno del pop hecho en nuestro país en los años sesenta, de bandas como PICNIC o FORMULA V, pero que a su vez sea capaz de actualizar su discurso con tanta habilidad, tomando como referencia bandas como BELLE & SEBASTIAN, FITNESS FOREVER o NIZA. El caso es que el debut oficial de Coral y Javi contiene cuatro canciones que son auténticas gemas, deliciosas y luminosas, arregladas con inusitada maestría y con unas melodía de esas que se deslizan en tu cabeza con una habilidad terrorífica. “No sé por qué”, o “Sputnik, mi amor” justifican las expectativas que habían creado con sus maquetas, con las que se habían colado entre las mejores maquetas de 2008 para los oyentes del programa de Radio 3 Disco Grande, o con las que ganaron el concurso de maquetas del Festival Contempopránea 2008.
