Highly influenced by Punk, Americana, Roots Music, Gypsy Music, Celtic Music, Blues, Jazz, Latin Music, and Rock’n’Roll, the Bandits incorporate these diverse styles into one.

In the spring of 2005, three high school students, Sammy Ruiz, David Cisneros and Albert Muro, came together to form Badluck Bandits. Before graduating from Eagle Rock High School they managed to win 1st place at the annual Eagle Rock High School Battle of the Bands, and play a sold out show at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood. The adventure didn’t stop there. Soon after graduating in 2006 they decided to hit the studio and record the 1st album, Deadmans Hand. The album sold out weekly at Amoeba Records in Hollywood and many other local LA record stores. The album brought many great opportunities along the way. By 2007, Badluck Bandits were playing sold out shows at the House of Blues Hollywood, Knitting Factory, Safari Sam’s, the Roxy, the Viper Room, and many other hot spots.

In 2007 through 2008 the Bandits have toured Northern and Southern California, Nevada, Arizona, Washington, and Oregon. In September of 2008, Badluck Bandits had the opportunity to open for the punk-rock legends Rancid at the House of Blues Anaheim were Johnny “2 Bags” Wickershim of Social Distortion joined the boys in playing guitar for three songs. Many music corporations such as Hot Topic and Hellcat Records saw an interest in Badluck Bandits. The Bandits performed two max capacity in store Hot Topic gigs, and three Hellcat Night events at the Knitting Factory in late 2009 and 2010.

The young high-energy trio will leave a lasting impression on anybody who sees them perform. From love songs to drinking songs you’ll be moving the night away. The Bandits are a hard working band who isn’t stopping anytime soon. Lets see what Luck brings them next.
