Baba YagA

'In 1987 a silly little creature was born in a town called Ostend, Belgium. In 2004 she started listening to breakcore coz of her friend SaPeR. At first she didn't want to know that kinda music coz it sucked in her eyes/ears. But after a while she fell in love with the style. Because SaPeR was producing she also wanted to learn how to make music, so she got herself 'Fruity Loops' and started with making lazy d'n'b tracks which weren't really 100% dnb. Because she wanted to put her songs online she needed a name so Julie called herself 'Baba YagA.' Then her first songs came online on a belgian site, 'electrobel'. Baba YagA really enjoyed making music, she still does of course!!!!! She joined the label Unfinished Monkey Record (UMR), and recently the label 'Amenorea'. '



It all started with 'Dungeons and Dragons and end of the road45'. I've posted my songs on a belgian site (here you can check out all my stuff ever made http://users.electrobel.be/BabaYagA) There I saw people really enjoyed my songs so it was an extra stimulation to go on. I've always made songs i like, which gives me a good feeling, then I know for myself i'm there.



Then i've met Dustrickx ( ==> www.myspace.com/dustrickx) he created UMR label (Unfinished Monkey Records)

It's an electronic music netlabel which only goal was to promote music that was innovative and inspired and to please a present day electronic music loving audience.
