Some bands stick to their guns, maintaining sincerity and the same dominating ability to produce solid HARDcore. Awoken, was one of these bands. Since the start of 2003 the band worked non-stop, with a consistantly positive attitude. Constant shows across the UK, a debut MCD on Let It Burn, and 3 tours across Europe - a 5 week, 30 show tour sharing the stage with HOODS, and finally a co-headlining tour with labelmates FINAL PRAYER saw Awoken make an indelible mark on European hardcore.

Loyalty, integrity and hard work were the cornerstones of a band hell bent on bringing their vision of hardcore to the forefront of everyone's mind. Powerful, cleverly structured anthems laced with groove and a sense of brutality were the unbroken foundation of Awoken's sound.

Awoken's debut full-length "Death or Glory", released 2006, re-defined everything you'd come to expect from UK and European hardcore.



Awoken split in February 2007. The final show in London was a testament to everything the band strived for throughout the 4 years of hard work. The loyalty and friendship spawned by the band still exists and continues to influence bands and kids today. We had the time of our lives.
