aus is the solo project of Yasuhiko Fukuzono, who was born in Tokyo and one of the owners of flau. Since the time of a teenager, he has been composing music for experimental film works, and enormous tape works have been produced during this period. He has 2 limited albums (out-of-print) by the belgium label u-cover, which received rave reviews from around the world for his unique and exquisite interpretation of today's electronic music.

In 2006 ,"Sonorapid” was released by Music Related in N.Y. This album of modern bedroom pop, gorgeously exhibits the synchronization of beautiful electronic sounds with dazzling vocals, which intertwined by subtle beats programming.Since then he has released 4th album "Lang" on japanese label preco.aus also performed in Sonarsound Tokyo 2006, which is the satellite event of the world’s largest cutting-edge electronic music event in Spain.

Since 1998, He has been composing music for the films and short movies.So far, he has crafted some of his most beautiful compositions for the 6 short films and movies shot by Takafumi Tsuchiya.Find his short film at European Media Art Festival 2007, Dotmov Festival 2006 and 12th BMI.This year, Fukuzono will also be making a soundtrack for swedish video artist Irispiers.
